News Network On March 16th morning, Fan Yuejin, the Party secretary and president of Qingdao University met James Baker, vice president of Missouri State University and the delegation in reception room 204 of the office building, and took an in-depth discussion in the exchanges and cooperation between the colleges. Fan Yuejin expressed our warm welcome to Vice President Baker, and briefly introduced the development of our school. Fan Yuejin said Qingdao University attaches great importance to friendly relations and cooperation with Missouri State University. The two sides have made great achievements in the exchanges between teachers and students, academic visits, especially the aspects of exchange students dispatch since 1998. He hopes two colleges carry out more closely, more pragmatic exchanges and cooperation.
Vice President Baker said there’s a promising future of the cooperation and exchange between the two universities. He’d like to further cooperation in the dominant disciplines, characteristics majors and other aspects, to promote academic exchanges between teachers and students in order to provide far more opportunities to broaden international horizon of teachers and students.
