During December 14 to 15, Roger Brindley, vice president of the University of South Florida, and kun Shi, thedeanof the Confucius Institute, were invited to our school for a visit. Fan Yuejin, party secretary and the president of Qingdao University, met with the guests.

During the talks, both sides entered into in-deep discussions on the exchange of students in areas of tourism and engineering. Through further friendly negotiation, they reached an agreement in the fields of setting up campus on each other's side, joint research and academic exchanges.
