From April 1st to April 7th, the 9th “International Young Musicians in the Far East Competition” was held by Russian Ministry of Culture in Vladivostok, Russia. A group of our students led by professor Deng liejia from College of Music participated in the competition. In the fierce preliminary contest, two students-Zhao Zihui and Zhang Jingyi gave excellent performances and entered the finals. Finally, their exquisite skills earned the international judges’ recognition, with the second prize for Zhao and the third prize for Zhang.
